Overview

Option Profit Sim is a free options payoff calculator. You can use everything without an account. Signing in is optional — it exists only so you can save your trade setups to your account and see them on other devices. This page explains the data that is involved and how advertising works.

Data stored on your device

When you are not signed in, your preferences and saved trade setups are stored only in your browser (localStorage) on your own device. They are not transmitted to us and we cannot see them. Clearing your browser storage removes them.

Accounts & saved trades

If you choose to sign in, we use Google Sign-In. We receive your email address and a Google account identifier, which we use to create your account and keep your saved trades associated with you. We do not receive your Google password.

When signed in, the trade setups you choose to save (the strategy, strikes, quantities and similar inputs — no brokerage or financial-account information) are stored in our database, hosted by Supabase, so you can access them across devices. We do not sell this data or use it for advertising.

You can delete any saved trade at any time from within the app. To delete your account and all associated data, email us at the address below and we will remove it.

Market data

When you enter a ticker, we fetch a delayed price from a public market-data provider to seed the calculation. No information about you is sent with that request beyond the symbol you typed.

Advertising & cookies

This site is supported by advertising. We use Google AdSense to display ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you.
